air-permeable, and match other agricultural needs
As a raw material, synthetic fibers such as
polypropylene (PP), polyethylene, and polyester (PET) are blended with natural fibers like jute or coir to
make agro-textiles. This blend of fibers offers both strength and the benefit of biodegradability.
Advanced technologies such as weaving, knitting, nonwoven processing, and coating are used to manufacture
the functional materials suited to meet agriculture needs. The agrotextiles are categorized into shade nets,
mulch mats, insect nets, windbreaks and bird nets, nursery sheets, and ground covers according to various
environmental controls. Agro textile is an integration of sustainability and innovation, which contributes to higher
productivity, lower chemical dependency, and more resilient farming systems.
This project involves establishing a spinning mill equipped with 25,000 spindles to produce high-quality carded yarn. Carded yarn is widely used in the textile industry for weaving and knitting applications. The facility is designed to cater to the growing demand in domestic and export markets.
